70's Grunge Portrait Session - Stevie

Taking an ugly location and creating something beautiful from it? Yes, please!

This edgy, grunge portrait session was so fun! I've wanted to shoot in a laundromat for a while now, so this was the perfect location for the 70's inspired styles Stevie brought to her shoot!

I love shooting in places most people would find ugly or un-inspiring. I love challenging myself to make even the worst looking spots a gorgeous backdrop for unique and creative sessions. An old laundromat, a school parking lot, a used car lot. It just proves that you don't have to have ideal circumstances or locations to create something special!
That's the beauty of being an artist- you see the world around you in a different way than others, and each person has something unique to create and share with the world!

And of course, Stevie was amazing and rocked every single spot we shot at, despite the freezing weather!

I'm so beyond in love with how these shots turned out. Check out some favorites below, and don't forget to get out there and try creating something out of the box!
