Every year I select a small group of upcoming high school senior girls to join my Senior Model Team, and they get to to take part in styled shoots and other events throughout the year! This year though, I wanted to do something extra special and memorable for my Senior Models...

These girls are selected out of dozens of applicants and chosen based on a number of different aspects; their academics, enthusiasm, personal goals, and having a positive vibe and outlook on life!

This team isn't just about amazing photo shoots, it's about building relationships and friendships within the team! Our group is a positive and empowering environment for the chosen seniors to use their creativity within the styled shoots, as well as making incredible memories of their last year of high school!

So this year, I wanted to take our Senior Model shoot to the next level.

After months of planning and brainstorming, we created the Senior Model Road Trip Shoot; a fully styled session, (including makeup by the AMAZING Summer Sammons!) at the most stunning location about 2 hours away. We shot at Rocks State Park in MD which is breathtaking, (literally: we had to climb a mountain to get to our first location- we all just about passed out, but it was SO worth it!) with cliffs and forests and waterfalls that were absolutely incredible. It was the perfect backdrop for our adventure styled session, and these girls not only killed it in front of the camera, but we were honestly all laughing the entire day and had the best time getting to know each other better!

I LOVE when clients turn into friends! I am so thankful for this team of ladies that I get to work with this year- it reminds me why I do what I do: to build into the lives of young women, and to give them an outlet and safe environment to be creative and to realize their true potential and how unique, beautiful, and precious they are! Each one of these girls is so unique and brings a different quality to the team that is so special! They're pretty much just the best ever.
